Mamelodi Taxi Fares Increase (MATA) — Effective 1 May 2026

MATA revises Mamelodi local fares to Pretoria, Centurion and Hammanskraal plus long-distance services from Denneboom to Limpopo.

The Mamelodi taxi industry (MATA, 218 Brandwag Street, Silverton) has increased fares from 1 May 2026. Local fares include Mamelodi to Pretoria town R28, Centurion R33, Midrand R40, Kempton Park R38 and Tembisa R35, with scholar fares listed separately. Long-distance services from Mamelodi and Denneboom station now run to Ga-Mphahlele and Lephalale at R300, Polokwane at R310, Giyani at R420, Malamulele at R440 and Thohoyandou at R420, among others.
