Orange Farm United Taxi Association Fare Increase — Effective 17 April 2026
OFUTA raises fares across Orange Farm, Drieziek, Finetown and Majazana routes to Johannesburg, Randburg, Baragwanath and the Vaal.
The Orange Farm United Taxi Association (OFUTA) has notified commuters of a fare increase effective from 17 April 2026. The increase affects local routes from Orange Farm Ext 2, Ext 10, Drieziek, Finetown, Majazana, Eyethu Mall and surrounding sections to Johannesburg, Randburg, Baragwanath, Alberton, Vereeniging and the Vaal, as well as the long-distance service to Newcastle. Most local fares rise by R3, with Johannesburg trips moving from R25 to R30 and Randburg from R32 to R37.
